Standard maintenance agreements allow for routine maintenance procedures to be carried out on a regular basis to reduce to reduce the risk of breakdown and help to maximise operating efficiency. The standard plan is usually tailored to suit the owners budget and inspections may be carried out at monthly, quarterly or six monthly intervals. If and when faults occur or problems are diagnosed they are costed and approved by the client before repairs are carried out. At times these repair costs can be significant and difficulties arise due to short term budget constraints which may result in delays in carrying out repairs.

The standard maintenance plan is recommended as a minimum.
